Sandra Viljoen


Sandra Aveleira Viljoen has 15yrs Corporate Leadership experience and over 10 years Coaching experience.  She started her career in Sales and Marketing, where she was Regional General Manager for South African Airways. She then moved towards her passion in people development and was Group HR Executive for the Cullinan Group. In 2003 she started her own consultancy called New Beginnings in South Africa and developed her own leadership and personal development programs such as ‘The Power of You’ and ‘The Ripple Effect’.

Sandra is also a qualified NLP Professional Coaching Practitioner, since November 2006 when she completed a Coaching Practitioner Certificate with the Meta Skills Institute SA. In 2013 she completed the Master Coach program & received the ACMC Certification accredited by ISNS (International Society of Neuro-Semantics). She has Coached many Business Executives and has a vast experience in Coaching, Training and Consulting. She has developed her own unique Coaching Model, (SPECTRA) and is now sharing it with Leaders. She is the founder and Managing Director of New Beginnings Coaching, registered as a Training Institution in Mauritius since Feb 2011 and Director of The Coaching Practice, which focuses on the training, developing and mentoring of Professional Coaches. She is a registered member of ‘The International Coach Federation’ based in the United States. She is also the founding member of IOCA.

Bruneau Woomed


Bruneau Woomed has led several lives ! After graduating from Maths and Actuarial studies, he has spent more than 15 years in the Corporate world as Manager of the Life department of an insurance company while running in parallel a Pensions Administration company. He then became self-employed wearing several hats as an actuarial consultant, management trainer, university lecturer, project manager and business entrepreneur. He is a JCI Past National President and he is the current National Coordinator of the highly acclaimed WIN Leadership Programme which aims to empower women. He is passionate about people and he now sees his mission as empowering others so that they achieve their full potential. He did his Coaching Master Class in 2012 with Institut Coaching International of France. He focuses mainly on Life Coaching and Executive Coaching

Maya Rabbat


Maya is an International Business Coach working on projects between South Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. She coaches successful individuals and organizations in English and French.

Maya has a 12 years experience in International Business – developing businesses overseas for South African companies, and locally leading sales and marketing teams to success. This exposed her to the reality of fast moving markets and the toxic consequences of a permanent stress and change happening in organizations. Her passion in the positive growth and development of the human being in business encouraged her to specialize in coaching.

Certified Practitioner Coach at The Integral Coaching Center in Cape Town, her coaching is founded on the Integral approach that looks at the individual within their environment from all perspectives. Being a member of Comensa, Maya’s coaching fall under the Comensa Code of ethics.

Maya has coached on a one on one-basis with successful individuals, top and middle management and their teams. She has gained in depth skills in dealing with emotional intelligence, diversity and group dynamics in many different types of industries.

Laurence Ramah


After my studies in France, I had the opportunity to work in Mauritius and abroad, mainly in administration and management. In 2010, I took the challenge to train as a coach. I am now a professional coach, fully certified by the International Coach Federation. I have been working full time as a freelance coach at the Institut Cardinal Jean Margéot (ICJM) on a CSR project from July 2010 to April 2013. One of my key responsibilities at ICJM was to set up a Coaching Unit for the Social Studies Department (DES) that would provide coaching services to social workers. I successfully designed and delivered a Personal Development Coaching Program to more than 75 social workers.

My coaching style is transformational and empowering. I see greatness in all human beings and I believe that everyone can unlock their potential, overcome their limiting beliefs, go the extra mile and let go of hurt feelings to soar to new heights. I am sensitive and authentic while being warm and trustworthy.

Ehsan Abdool Rahman


Over the last fifteen years,  Ehsan has held senior management positions in both the private and public sectors in Mauritius. He has worked in the textile industry , in the retail industry, in the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research and for the last five years in the financial services. He has developed and executed key people strategies, particularly in the field of organisational development, and has contributed in shaping and sustaining a culture of performance and change impacting on business results. Ehsan is the Director of  Unlock Potential Company Limited.

Ehsan’s expertise has enabled him to partner with leaders of business organizations to assess organizational readiness for change, facilitate organizational and individual transitions through executive and business coaching, and build a change architecture that supports culture and change alignment, leadership capacity, and communication strategy that has led to high engagement level of employees and business performance.  He has also contributed in developing learning and development strategies to improve individual and team’s ability to operate effectively in constantly changing environments.

Ehsan holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management and has pursued his professional development in human resource and business strategies at the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.  He is a Certified Meta-Coach and a Certified user of the Occupational Personality Questionnaire. He was awarded the ‘Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Palmes Académiques’ by the French Government for his contribution in reforms in education and was also awarded the Order of the Star and Key  (OSK)of the Indian Ocean by the Republic of Mauritius for his contribution in social work.  Ehsan is Mauritian and is fluent in both English and French.

Megha Venketasamy


Megha Venketasamy has occupied several management roles in various sectors over the past 10 years, specializing increasingly in the management of Customer Portfolio, people management, time constraint, internal and external resources. She is currently the Managing Director of “Business Magic Ltd”- a young company which provides support, training and coaching to individuals and entrepreneurs.

Her own background and analytical interests in the field of people management, training and creativity has led her to embark on a self-leadership and entrepreneurial journey.

Megha recently qualified as a Meta Coach and is an accredited trainer for an entrepreneurship course “Build Your Business Build” (BYB), under the ageist of Microsoft Indian Ocean Islands and Pacific French and the International Youth Foundation (Baltimore).

Believer in human potentials, she has been active in NGOs and has over the years taken more engagement when it gets to women empowerment on grassroot level. Since 2010, Megha has been active with the Women In Politics (WIP) team and she is the current Acting Champion and also the Project Manager of WIP.

We have open positions available and would like to invite members who wish to join this dynamic Management Committee and who would like to play a role in Leading IOCA forward, to please send us an email stating which position you would be interested to fill. The following positions are available:
Secretary, Assistant Secretary, and Assistant Treasurer. By being part of the Management Committee you will be expected to attend our monthly meetings and abide to the Association rules.  The Management Committee are dedicated Coaches who live up to the Vision of IOCA and strive to achieve the 11 objectives set our by our members. But we also have loads of fun and love what we do!
